Warden Training Course
This course is structured in accordance with AS 3745-2010/Amendment 2-2018 Planning for emergencies in facilities and AS 4083-2010 Planning for emergencies – Health care facilities.
This course consists of theory based classroom style information session.
The session will contain the following information:-
- Duties of the ECO as described in the Emergency response procedure duties
- Procedures for specific emergencies
- Responding to alarms and reports of emergencies
- Reporting emergencies
- Initiating installed emergency warning equipment
- Use of Installed Emergency response equipment
Theory and Practical use of Portable Fire Equipment
Theory and Practical use of Portable Fire Equipment is conducted in accordance with AS3745-2010/Amendment 2-2018 Planning for Emergencies in Facilities.
Fire Extinguisher training under provisions in relation to Work Health & Safety Regulations 2012 Chapter 3, General Risk & Workplace Management – Part 2 General Workplace Management, Divisions 1 and 4 will apply.
This course consists of theory based classroom style information session and/or practical session which will take place in a suitable area on site. The session will contain the following information:-
- Fire Theory
- Workplace Fire Awareness
- Identification of Fire Extinguishers in the workplace
- Water Fire Extinguisher Information

Evacuation Exercises
Evacuation response to emergencies will be structured in accordance with AS 3745- 2010/Amendment 2-2018 Planning for emergencies in facilities and AS 4083-2010 Planning for emergencies – Health care facilities.
Evacuation training under provisions in relation to Work Health & Safety Regulations 2012 Chapter 3, General Risk & Workplace
Management – Part 2 General Workplace Management, Divisions 1 and 4 will apply.
This exercises and training are conducted in your workplace and consists of the following:-
